Jeremiah Youngblood is a character recently introduced in the page of Savage Dragon (1993).
Introduced in Savage Dragon #263 (February 2023), Jeremiah Youngblood is the head of S.O.S., the Special Operations Strikeforce. [The S.O.S. first appeared in Savage Dragon (1993) #41 as a replacement for Youngblood after their demise in Mars Attacks Image (1996).]
After the funeral for Horridus, Jeremiah Youngblood offered Malcolm Dragon a position with the west-coast branch of S.O.S..
In Savage Dragon (1993) #266 Malcolm and family arrive in San Francisco to start their new life.
Jeremiah Youngblood is an obvious reference to the works of Rob Liefeld, specifically Youngblood and Marvel’s Cable. He feels like an amalgam of Nick Fury and Cable.
